BETTER NOISE MUSIC MARKS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY WITH NEW SPOTIFY PLAYLIST HONORING TRAILBLAZING WOMEN IN MUSIC
8th March 2023I’m proud to be part of a team that recognizes and elevates women in rock music. This playlist has so many dope artists so of course I’m honoured that half of our album has been included! We have shared the stage with Diamante, Halestorm and Lacey Sturm. I’m a big fan of All Good Things and Taylor Acorn (shout out to our friends in Nothing More for featuring her). This is a playlist I would have definitely created for myself and before you ask, yes I listen to my own music! 😆🤘

New York-based independent record label Better Noise Music marks International Women’s Day with a brand new Spotify playlist; 30 tracks from label-affiliated artists/bands that feature and celebrate the important role women play in the music business.
The near-2-hour, genre-crossing playlist includes tracks from Eva Under Fire’s latest album “Love Drugs & Misery” in addition to The HU’s “Song of Women” featuring Lzzy Hale, “Faded Out” by Asking Alexandria featuring Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation, “Take A Chance On Me” from AWOLNATION featuring Jewel and “Out In The Rain” from Cory Marks featuring Lizzy Hale of Halestorm, to name just a few.
Also prominently featured on “Better Noise Music: W♀men” is All Good Things who have enjoyed multiple hits with their 2021 release “A Hope In Hell”. Songwriter and bassist Liz Hooper cheered the launch of the playlist:
“Shout out to all the amazing women pioneers or rock that came before us, and for all the girls dominating rock today. You inspire me every day! ❤️ Check out our song “Hold On” featuring the conic Lacey Sturm, and make sure to spin all of Eva Under Fire’s jams on this playlist for some Female Fire 🔥🔥🔥.”
