Def Leppard – Euphoria 2LP Review.
12th August 2022Finally, the remastered version of the Def Leppard album Euphoria is now available as a stand alone release as it was only previously available contained within the Vinyl Collection Volume 2 LP box.
After the stripped back sound of Slang, Def Leppard came back all guns blazing with Euphoria. Compared to Slang, Euphoria is a happier sounding album especially as the huge production sound that the Leps are famous for is back on this record.
Tracks such as Back In Your Face with it’s 70’s glam rock feel and the politically charged single Paper Sun firlmly put the Def Leppard signature sound back in play.
This version of Euphoria is pressed from the same masters as the 2019 box set version. Same quality, same sonics, everything. It sounds bright, shiny and being on 2 LPs makes sure your stylus has room to breathe and lets their signature sound sparkle even on the cheapest of set ups.
As with the remaster of Adrenalize (reviewed HERE) Ronan McHugh has done a superb job capturing their essence. Especially on 21st Century Sha La La La Girl (which is coincidently my favorite track on this album.) The guitar sounds phenomenal.(
