DEFECTS ANNOUNCE RESCHEDULED TOUR DATES

26th October 2022 0 By Jon Deaux

UK metal newcomers DEFECTS have released a statement explaining the recent cancellation of their remaining tour dates after guitarist Luke Genders ended up hospitalised on the road.

“In light of recent tour dates being postponed, l’d like to shed some light on what forced us to do so. On our way to Cardiff I suddenly became unwell. After safely stopping the van and swapping drivers, I collapsed. The reality is , touring is hard going and I was already burnt out before we even started. Rest and checks were advised by the paramedics and a follow up appointment has shown everything is back to normal. Thank you for your understanding and support. We have never had to pull out of shows before but we are delighted to have the rescheduled dates booked.

See you in December,
Luke.”
The band were approaching the end of a hugely successful tour with special guests RXPTRS when the incident happened. Catch them at the following rescheduled shows in December 2022:
