EARTH CRAWLER Release Video for “Aces & Eights”

17th March 2023 0 By Jon Deaux
Bay Area metal lords EARTH CRAWLER have released a video for their newest single, “Aces & Eights.” The song spotlights the EARTH CRAWLER’s ability to infuse elements from a wide spectrum of influences into a style all their own and serves as a taste of things to come when the band releases its new EP later this year.

Vocalist Derek Thompson comments on the song, “Aces is the first song I got to write & record with the band since joining last year. It is kind of a play on the doom and gloom aspect of our current events in society. How having a more positive Outlook can help others that you may not know are having a hard time. Getting a chance to write and play music again with my best friends is such a rejuvenating experience. We hope you dig the new stuff. More to come this year!”[su_youtube url=”youtu.be/iMiyt-faOas” title=”Dolby Atoms Version”]”Aces & Eights” is also streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.

EARTH CRAWLER’s music doesn’t concern itself with the confines of any subgenres. Since their inception in 2016, their goal has been to write songs that incorporate any and all influences from every corner of the musical world they have experienced, while challenging themselves to reside outside of each member’s comfort zone. By not having a preconceived niche to fit in, EARTH CRAWLER creates songs whose journey is devoid of staleness or redundancy. Without rehashing concepts from song to song by bringing in elements of death metal, thrash, hardcore, post-metal, doom, and stoner metal to the table, nothing feels foreign to the world that EARTH CRAWLER lives in.

EARTH CRAWLER IS:
Chris Lee – Lead Guitars
Derek Thompson – Lead Vocals
Nick Benigno – Drums
Kimo Sanborn – Guitars/Vocals
Terry Goss – Bass
