The band Foghat is the adopted son of Free, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Lynrd Skynrd if they were in a thruple. You really do get the best of all three in one band. Foghat is also one of those rare bands that you’ve heard of but not really heard of.

This album collection features bangers such as the classic Slow Ride and their take on the Willie Dixon standard I Just Want To Make Love To You

There is not a bad album in this collection. Even the 6th CD which is a collection of singles isn’t bad either as some of these can cost a pretty penny if you were to hunt down the vinyl.

I’m a huge fan of Foghat and I’m hoping there’s a 1976 – 1983 Bearsville box to come.

All my original pressings are very tired and need an upgrade and this is the perfect way to go. So step outside, visit your local record store, and pick this box up. Or if you’re like me and that seems like too much of an effort, order it online and have it delivered. Each album is housed in its own cardboard sleeves that replicate the original album art and there’s also an incredible booklet with liner notes and rare photos.
