Future Palace returned earlier this year with their new single ‘Malphas’, their first new music since their 2022 sophomore album Run, out now via Arising Empire.

One of the most aspiring post-hardcore acts in Germany, Future Palace signed to Arising Empire to release their debut album Escape in 2020, which garnered several million streams across streaming platforms.

Future Palace‘s sophomore album Run was produced by Julian Breucker (Beyond The Black) and mixed/mastered by Annisokay guitarist Christoph WieczorekRun explored the fight with one’s own demons, the aftermath of a toxic relationship, and how the struggle with your own salvation is only the beginning, even after escaping from a dramatic situation. Blending the rawness of Holding AbsenceSpiritbox, and While She Sleeps with the irresistible, sweeping sounds of Bring Me The Horizon and PVRIS, the visually stunning and vulnerable record sets these painful processes to atmospheric post-hardcore, portraying the ups and downs of emotion.

German post-hardcore outfit VENUES released their new single ‘Haunted House’ earlier this year via Arising Empire. The track followed previous singles ‘Cravings’ and ‘Reflections’, as well as the band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album Solace.

VENUES went into the studio with producer Christoph Wieczorek (Annisokay) to record their latest album Solace (2021, Arising Empire), who coated their massive sound with a metallic alloy of remarkable precision.

Melody and punch-drunk heaviness, metal and alternative rock, zeitgeist and authenticity, barbed choruses and unleashed creativity: with their soaring sophomore release, VENUES fulfilled every single promise they gave on Solace.

“2020 showed all of us how much the band is helping us keep our sanity,” guitarist Robin muses. “Almost the whole band went through minor or medium crises since the release of our debut. Relationships went sour, things were ended and begun. In times like these, our second album was the light at the end of the tunnel. Something we all could look forward to. Our music held our heads above water.”

It was a big leap, going from the previous album Aspire to Solace, and a logical one, too. Ten songs, ten exorcisms of negative energy, ten lifesavers.
