You asked, we provided. Hammerfest XIV is ready to rip its way through Great Yarmouth for its 14th run of some of the best Doom, Metal and Hardcore artists who are masters of their musical craft. By absolute fan demand, we are delighted to announce a return to the Whale Road where we take Hammerfest back to the heart of the “Angles” tribes and heartland (aka Camp HRH Great Yarmouth), where we create a sword storm and smash our shield walls together for a total metal mash-up of genres with more curveballs and surprises than anything else we do in the metal world!

Hammerfest XIV is a must, as the last nine years have seen it sell out before the end of the current event, 9 months in advance! It’s a metal maelstrom, it’s the most popular and fastest-selling metal event we do. Even more, it’s what everyone has asked us to do, during that Covid Blip. Hammerfest XIV goes to another level as we introduce everyone to the revamped Camp HRH which will be held back at the Vauxhall 5-Star Holiday Resort in Great Yarmouth East Anglia. Camp HRH 2022 will feature more facilities and amenities as well as an extended experience, which will even put a new meaning to our traditional Hammerfest shenanigans. We all know the craic, it’s just about getting in it to do it properly.

Camp HRH is ready for action! This year will be no different from 2019’s launch, so we will be doing exactly the same again with Hammerfest, launching the 14th Chapter of pure metal debauchery. After Covid, XIV will have a heavy International feel to the line-up, plus the very best stage 2 acts around that will cross into the Doom, Pirate, Stoner, Punk spheres of fun.

CANDLEMASS
Candlemass perhaps got its earliest start in 1982 when several of its members-to-be were in a band called Nemesis. After ten years together, Candlemass split up in 1994, but Leif Edling resurrected the band in 1997 for Dactylis Glomerata with the classic line-up reuniting in 2001.
GRAVE DIGGER
German Heavy Metalheads Grave Digger is a German first formed in 1980 by Chris Boltendahl and Peter Masson. Emerging from the early-to-mid 1980s heavy metal scene of their native country, Grave Digger has been referred to as one of the so-called “big four” of German power metal, along with Helloween, Rage and Running Wild.
PRIMORDIAL
Extreme Irish metal band Primordial formed in 1987 by bassist Pól MacAmhlaigh and guitarist Ciarán MacUiliam. Their sound blends black metal and doom metal entwined with Celtic heritage. Their ninth album Exile Amongst The Ruins via Metal Blade Records worldwide.

HOLOCAUST
Founded in 1978 by John Mortimer, Holocaust was so named with the idea in mind that a Heavy Metal band should have an impact like that of a nuclear bomb exploding. Heavy Metal was a new concept in those days and Holocaust made history with their first release in 1980 as the 12″ single Heavy Metal Mania was the first commercial release to feature the term Heavy Metal in the title.
DISCHARGE
Discharge are an English hardcore punk band formed in 1977 in Stoke-on-Trent, England. The band is known for influencing countless sub-genres of extreme music and their songs have been covered by some of the biggest names in heavy metal and other genres.
ACID REIGN
Acid Reign are an English thrash metal band, originally active from 1985 to 1991. The band rebooted in 2015 with just H remaining from the original lineup. Along with Onslaught, Sabbat and Xentrix. Acid Reign are considered to be one of the “big four” of British thrash metal.
