HARD ROCK HELL RADIO – THE NEW STATION FOR A ROCK AND ROLL NATION

LAUNCHES FEB 1 2017 FOLLOWING TBFM FAREWELL PARTY

HRH Media – the multi-platform media brand associated with Europe’s fastest growing rock and metal community – has revealed the launch date for its brand new radio station.

Hard Rock Hell Radio hits the airwaves from February 1 with an army of dedicated DJs ready to deliver the very best in rock and metal 24/7.

And it follows hot on the heels of December’s HRH Mag online launch – with the first print edition of HRH Mag due in March.

Hard Rock Hell Radio is born out of the hugely successful TBFM. An eight-year run attracted rock and metal’s biggest names and thousands of loyal listeners – making it the go-to destination for a national audience seeking quality programming with an independent slant.

“TBFM have been making a big noise since 2009 and it wasn’t long before everyone at HRH HQ started to sit up and take notice,” said HRH CEO Jonni Davis.

“We are at the start of a very exciting era with the HRH Media Division taking off and finding the right radio station was a priority.

“Of course we didn’t have to look far. TBFM proved to be the perfect fit. Our aim is to give Jay and his team every opportunity to build upon the legacy of TBFM and to create a brand new rock and roll monster in the shape of Hard Rock Hell Radio.”

TBFM will go out with a bang this week before founder Jay McGuire and his team make the leap to Hard Rock Hell Radio.

And it’s a move the man at the Hard Rock Hell Radio helm can’t wait to make after forging a close relationship with the HRH family.

“After starting TBFM as a bedroom hobby eight years ago, I never thought we would see things grow to the size they have,” said McGuire.

“TBFM has become a big part of the underground rock and metal community through radio, a magazine, gigs and more.

“But when we realised there was a chance to bring TBFM under the Hard Rock Hell Radio banner it was a no-brainer. The reaction was ‘hell yeah!’.

“We share the same ethos and the same ambitions. The support shown by Jonni and the team behind HRH is second to none.

“Like us, they are passionate about the music, the fans and the bands which is why the merger made so much sense. We can’t wait to get started.”

The first official Hard Rock Hell Radio programme will be broadcast from midday on February 1 with content spanning genres.

Ten HRH branded shows – with more to be added – will feature in week one and plans are in place to broadcast live from the HRH Metal main stage from February 11-12.
