Held By Trees Two-disc, expanded edition of the debut “Solace” on vinyl for Record Store Day 2024

19th March 2024 0 By Jon Deaux

Held By Trees are thrilled to announce that a two-disc, expanded edition of their debut album “Solace” will be released on vinyl for Record Store Day 2024. Through their partnership with Lasgo Records, they have the opportunity to present “Solace” in a one-off, 500-unit pressing with a second LP of alternative versions, ambient mixes, demos, and other music that tells the whole story of how Held By Trees began, specifically mastered for vinyl by the legendary Denis Blackham.

This special pressing for Record Store Day, which is on Saturday 20th April, also features newly configured artwork and sleeve notes. When Lasgo Records told them that “Solace” had made the prestigious selection for this year’s Record Store Day releases, Held By Trees thought it was too good an opportunity to miss. As avid record shop customers themselves, they are delighted to be a part of this excellent initiative.

“Solace” was released in April 2022 to worldwide critical acclaim, hitting number 4 in the official indie charts and garnering radio support from BBC 6 Music, Radio 3, Soho Radio as well as countless regional and internet radio stations.

Additionally, Held By Trees are playing two supporting gigs:
