The Hyena Kill – Atomised
18th April 2016Now this is a refreshing blast of audio driven ferociousness !
Manchester duo The Hyena Kill‘s debut album, Atomised, is an impressive beast of 8 tracks of noise tinged rock and roll, with elements of punk, grunge, and indie music thrown into the mix for good measure.
This a is dark and angry album, with Steven Dobb (vocalist/guitarist) and Lorna Blunder (drums) doing an awesome job of expressing their inner most demons… and making as much noise as possible as they do so.
I’ve had this on repeat play since I first heard it, and I simply cannot get these tunes out of my head. It’s so good to hear a band doing something different… and doing it so damn well.
Check out the new single, ‘Crosses‘, to see exactly what I mean –
The Hyena Kill have created something truly special with Atomised, and if you’re a fan of emotive music that isn’t afraid to take a few risks and refuses to be categorised, then you definitely need to buy yourself a copy of this now. Outstanding!
