“I’ve always enjoyed sharing motivational quotes and words of wisdom to help people better their lives,” says ICE-T. “I started sharing quotes on social media and my fans loved it so much, they wanted me to share it daily. Through this new podcast with iHeartPodcasts, I hope these quotes will reach the right people and bring them up to speed on the daily game of life.”

For decades, ICE-T has been a cultural icon, respected actor, musician and television personality. Now, thanks to his massive social media appeal, he’s added motivational life coach to his list of accolades. In each episode of Ice-T’s Daily Game, ICE will share a quote or offer words of wisdom from his personally curated list of inspiring sayings. He will break down why these words are important to him and share personal experiences that have affected his life.

These bite-sized pearls of wisdom provide practical, relatable and unique insights for everyone. ICE-T pulls no punches as he shares his unique point of view and special brand of profound and brutal honesty on relatable topics such as romance, success, failure, stress and more.

Ice-T’s Daily Game is co-produced by iHeartPodcasts and Audity, an Asylum Entertainment Group company. Executive producers include Noel Brown for iHeartPodcasts; Steve Michaels, Jodi Flynn and James Macnab for Audity; and ICE-T and Jorge Hinojosa for FinalLevel Entertainment as well as Ryann Lauckner and Jessica Bustillos. The podcast news comes in the week that ICE-T is set to be honoured with a Hollywood Walk Of Fame Star, with a ceremony set for 11.30am PT this Friday 17th Feb on Hollywood Boulevard.

“Ice-T is a success both in the music industry and television. His fans will be very excited to see their favourite performer placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” stated Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “Ice’s star will be situated near the stars of music greats such as Thelonius Monk, Dizzy Gillespie, Luciano Pavarotti, Mama Cass Elliott, John Denver, Herbie Hancock to name a few,” added Martinez. Joining emcee Lupita Sanchez Cornejo for the star unveiling will be Chuck D and Walk of Famers, Mariska Hargitay and Dick Wolf.

ICE-T not only invented gangster rap, he has lived it. He is the original embodiment of L.A. hip-hop and a cultural icon. Through his music, books and lecture tours of America’s prisons, high schools, libraries and colleges (including Harvard, Princeton and Stanford), ICE-T has become an influential spokesman for America’s youth, regardless of colour.

The Grammy Award-winning artist formed Rhyme Syndicate Records in 1989 and released a string of groundbreaking West Coast rap records. He subsequently formed the thrash metal band Body Count with close high school friend and guitarist Ernie C. Body Count‘s 1992 self-titled debut contained the controversial single ‘Cop Killer’, and the band became the most critically acclaimed act on the highly successful inaugural Lollapalooza Tour.

In 2018, Body Count received a Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance for their single ‘Black Hoodie’, off their sixth studio album, Bloodlust. After a 23-city European tour, including top rock and metal festivals, the band returned to the recording studio in 2019 to complete their seventh and latest album, Carnivore. ICE-T‘s talent as an artist has spanned many genres. As an author, he’s written five books: “The Ice Opinion” (1994), “Ice: A Memoir of Gangster Life and Redemption – from South Central to Hollywood” (2011), the fictional novels “Kings of Vice” (2011) and “Mirror Image” (2014), and, most recently, “Split Decision” (2022), a compelling memoir of his early life and shared past with former crime partner Spike, written in collaboration with New York Times bestselling author Douglas Century.

Ice-T’s Daily Game is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available on the iHeartRadio app and everywhere podcasts are heard. Listen here: https://podnews.net/podcast/iab2n/listen.
