MuddiBrooke Release Their Heavy New Single, ‘Cellar’ Co-written with Steven Battelle of LostAlone

4th May 2023 0 By Jon Deaux

MuddiBrooke’s brand new single ‘Cellar’ is full of high-paced, heavy riffs which will leave your heart thumping. Brooke’s panicked delivery of vocals mimics the fight-or-flight reaction to waking with no recollection; the noise of chains and the threat of death.

This track will leave you certain that this is based on a true story of an innocent prisoner. It is a true story, but that of metaphor; each lyric describes the exact feeling of being trapped in a dangerous relationship with a narcissist.

This is MuddiBrooke’s first collaboration: the track has been co-written with Steven Battelle from the Derby-based band, LostAlone, who recently supported My Chemical Romance on their latest UK tour. As well as producers Robin Newman and Richard Collins from Snug Recording Co.

‘Cellar’ is one the first singles to be released from MuddiBrooke’s disclosed debut album, which will be released Spring 2024.

Alt-Rock/Grunge trio based in Derby, UK.

Formed in 2020 but have since gained a large following/fan base.

In just three years, they have achieved worldwide airplay including stations such as Kerrang!, Planet Rock and BBC Radio and have been featured in online and printed magazines such as Powerplay, RAMzine and ERB.

They have supported the likes of Nick Oliveri (Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss), The Virginmarys and Reef.

Looking to the future, MuddiBrooke are currently building a UK tour for 2023 and working on their debut album for release in 2024.

“Fans of Wolf Alice and Pearl Jam will absolutely love this trio!” – Johnny Doom | KERRANG!
