NIGHTWISH – olympic swimmers to perform to ‘Last Ride Of The Day’
14th July 2016Apparently, the legendary Symphonic metal combo NIGHTWISH is everywhere – even in sports! The Australian national team of synchronized swimmers have announced that they will be using the classical hymn ‘Last Ride Of The Day’ off NIGHTWISH‘s “Imaginaerum” from 2012 for their competition at the Olympic Championship! The track will be played in an orchestral version during the swim performance of the team in Rio de Janeiro.
The band feels very honoured and wishes good luck to the entire team!
