NORDIC DAUGHTER WINS ULLRGRASS Band Competition 2023
24th February 2023Nordic Daughter competed Thursday night against 7 hot blue grass artists at New Terran Brewing Company. The UllrGrass Festival is a Viking Beer Festival hosted in downtown Golden this weekend January 27th-29th. Ullr is the Norse god of winter and the theme for the event is a Viking avantgarde. Check out the talent all weekend & enjoy the beer! As competition winners, Nordic Daughter has won a performance slot in 2023 & mainstage in 2024!
Nordic Daughter is a Rocky Mountain Folk Alternative artist with a Celtic influence. Their soulfully introspective tunes turn grief into empowerment and sadness into hope. The band has shared the stage with Lita Ford, Trapt, Jack Russells Great White, Stitched-Up-Heart, COLD and has been likened to 60’s folk with a modern flare.
