Romeo’s Daughter Returns to Renaissance Records with Reissue of 2012 Album ‘Rapture’

17th February 2022 0 By Jon Deaux

Romeo’s Daughter are a British AOR, contemporary and mainstream rock band originally
active in the 80s and 90s. They celebrated enormous success with their self-titled debut and
iconic album Delectable. After Delectable, the band took the decision to split to pursue their
own individual projects in the early 90s.

However, with a fan base that never gave up on the band, Romeo’s Daughter were tempted
to reform for what was originally going to be one off performance at the Firefest festival in
2009. Encouraged by the rapturous reception they received, the band decided to continue
their journey where they left off in the 1990s.

‘Rapture’, released in 2012, is the band’s third long awaited album. It captures all of Romeos
Daughter’s style and verve and is full of superbly crafted songs. With a gap of the best part of
20 years between Rapture and Delectable, this album firmly brings Romeo’s Daughter into the
21st century. It was written in the most by guitarist Craig Joiner and co produced with Ed
Poole, the band’s bass player. The album has received critical acclaim, with the first single
released from it, ‘Bittersweet’, reaching Classic Rock Magazine’s ‘Top songs of 2012’ chart.
Renaissance Records will be bringing Rapture to both deluxe 180-gram vinyl and CD. While
the CD is now in-stock and available for order, the deluxe LP will be available March 2022.
Vinyl packages will include extra incentives such as lyric sheets, lost photos, and more when
you purchase them exclusively with Renaissance Records.

The Rapture CD is now available and the Rapture LP is available for pre-order at
www.RenaissanceRecordsUS.com.
