Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown to Release a Special Record: Recorded and Cut Straight to Vinyl
19th September 2023Vibrant Nashville roots rockers, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown are releasing a very special live record — LIVE From ’79’ — that will only be released on vinyl, and when they say live, they surely mean it: this record was cut, mixed, mastered directly to a vinyl lacquer in front of a live studio audience.

The group has played hundreds upon hundreds of shows with countless venerable icons, such as AC/DC, Jeff Beck, Guns N’ Roses, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, Clutch, and Blackberry Smoke, just to name a few.
“We’ve always prided ourselves on being a live band,” says Tyler, “We dig when rock n roll is raw, when flaws are embraced, and humanity is amplified. When Universal Audio asked us if we’d consider recording an album direct to disk at Welcome To 1979, it was a no-brainer.”
This album was recorded, mixed, and mastered LIVE in front of a studio audience as the vinyl lacquer was being cut. No stopping, editing, or polishing!
“We started Rattle Shake Records (their independent label that allows them a direct line of communication with their fans) so we could create and share moments like this with you,” say the band.

The official release show will air at 7 PM CST on 29th September 2023 / BST 1 AM Saturday 30th Sept and will be available to re-play for 48 hours after the stream.
