Exclusive Video Stream: Curse of Denial “Night Terrors”

Cleveland is a city that is spewing out some incredible metal bands at the moment and two labels are quickly signing these talents up which are Seeing Red Records and Redefining Darkness Records. The latter have been in contact with All About The Rock regarding the newest video for Cleveland’s Curse of Denial which is for a track called Night Terrors that is featured on their upcoming debut album The 13th Sign.

Night Terrors is a tribute to a fallen Cleveland musician Jim ‘Sadist’ Konya (Nunslaughter, From The Depths, All That is Evil)who sadly passed away following multiple seizures and strokes while in hospital. It features a bounty of guest musicians all wanting to pay tributes and show Jim some love – Don of the Dead (Nunslaughter), Duane Morris (Decrepit, From the Depths), Paul Gorefiend (Embalmer, Kurnugia), Ben Ihde (Punching Moses), Aaron Dallison (Keelhaul, Brain Tentacles) and Matt Sorg (Ringworm).

Night Terrors is a tribute to Jim Konya

We caught up with Curse of Denial frontman Rob Molzan about Night Terrors, here is what he said:

“This song and video were made with one person in mind. That person is our late friend Jim “Sadist” Konya. The music was created for him so that he could bring back his former alter ego “Malcolm Judas Anthony” of From the Depths and All That is Evil. Unfortunately, Jim passed before he wrote and sang the song. We have a small horde of Cleveland metal personalities with us on this song to show Jim some love. The lyrics deal with how torture and fear can transcend in and out of reality, but yet these things always remain real. I wanted the video to show these things. Creepy terrifying things that you see in movies that also happen to people every single day. Our only goal with every aspect of this song was to pay homage to Jim and create something that he would have enjoyed. We hope that you enjoy it at well.“
