CATS in SPACE’ fly into orbit with their new EPIC single and video

CATS in SPACE, currently on tour promoting their chart-topping album Kickstart the Sun, release their new (and also exclusive double A-side single) 
1,000,000 MILES is the third single to be taken from their epic double album, but it has a twist. The power ballad co-written by guitarist Greg Hart and vocalist Damien Edwards is currently going down a storm on their UK tour and will be launched with two versions on marbled grey 7” vinyl with the final two collector’s cards.  In addition to the album version, there is also an incredible ‘duet version’ featuring Damien and the fabulous Julie Maguire aka ‘The Duchess’ from UK rockers ‘Space Elevator’.

 
A stunning ‘space adventure’ video will accompany the song and the performance from the pair has been described as “video gold!”  Shot again by film producer James Heron who also created the video promos for both ‘Poke the Witch’ and ‘Teenage Millionaires’ singles, it looks set to be another winner for the galactic juggernaut that is CATS in SPACE!
 
Greg Hart comments, “We knew early on this tune was always going to be a single, the cross-over potential is huge and I think, arguably, this is potentially the most universal CATS’ release ever. Everyone loves a ballad with real sentiment and I believe that we have done just that thanks to Damien’s wonderful lyrics.  The video is easily THE most emotionally charged performance we have ever done and James has captured real magic – there won’t be a dry eye in the house!” 
 
Damien continues, “The production and artistry on display is sublime. Basically it’s something I wanted to feel proud of and everything about it makes me feel that. The lyric is somewhat whimsical but at the same time it means something to me… and who are we to argue with Ian Caple who said it was an ‘Oscar winning performance’!”
 
The band are set to continue promoting Kickstart the Sun into 2023 with more exciting live shows to be revealed and the new single will once again ensure their familiar yuletide presence in the music world, as 1,000,000 MILES hits all social media platforms in blockbuster style!
