Empyre hit the Official Album Chart Top 10 prior to UK Tour
3rd September 2021What a summer it was for Empyre. They received rave reviews for their performance at Steelhouse Festival from the likes of Classic Rock Magazine, landed in the official album chart top 10 with New Republic on NWOCR Volume 1 and returned to the studio to complete the recording of their next album. Now they head out on the road with Mason Hill for 18 dates across England and Wales.
Lead Singer Henrik Steenholdt comments;
“There is a sense of excitement, relief, anticipation and expectation building within the band. It’s been a long time since we could tour, and now, finally we’ll get the chance to not only play the crowds the best of Self Aware but also introduce them to some of the new music we have written. Everyone has been largely deprived of gigs for 18 months, we have 10 new tracks that are screaming to be let free, we’re set to play towns we’ve never played before and the line-up of the three bands going out together is pretty compelling for any rock fans, so this is set to be very special.”
Empyre look forward to being one of the first bands touring post COVID restrictions and in doing so round off 2021 in style. The pandemic didn’t hold them back as over the course of that time this relentless band released an incredible 7 singles and 15 music videos, collaborated with Guitar World and Yamaha Music Europe, won Classic Rock Magazine’s “Track of the Week” three times and performed a number of gigs and live streams.
