Miseo – Lunatic Confessions

Miseo – Lunatic Confessions

8th September 2014 0 By Suzie Rottencrotch

Miseo are a German death metal band and Lunatic Confession is their debut full-length release, following on from their The Dead will Predominate EP which was released last year.

This is heavy and evil sounding stuff, and with track titles like ‘Daddy’s Girl‘, ‘Skin Dress‘ and ‘No guys No Glory‘ you know what to expect lyrically.  The musicianship is first class with chugging guitars, catchy riffs, pounding drums, and raw vocals that compliment the music perfectly.

Impressively, there isn’t any filler on here either – and each and every track is unique enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re listening to the same track over and over again, something that a lot of bands don’t manage on their debut.  Each time I listen to this I discover something new, and it grows on me even more.

It may not be groundbreaking, but Miseo have created an impressive debut with Lunatic Confessions, so if you’re a fan of old school brutal death metal then this is definitely worth checking out.  On the basis of this album I will certainly be keeping an eye out to see what Miseo do next.
