The second single of 2024 packs a huge ‘pop-punk’ punch! With Anthemic choruses and riffs nostalgic of the early 00’s, Famous Last Words is the perfect Alternative summer soundtrack.
Taking influence from the likes of Blink 182 and Sum 41, Famous Last Words sees Christian Smith & The Heretics take the heartland rock song writing style of ‘Aurora’ into a heavier direction.
Famous Last Words is about the balance of life and trying to pursue a music career, the feeling that getting older means there’s less time to pursue and reach the end goal. Becoming addicted to the craft and getting lost between what’s genuine and what’s well received. Trying not to think twice and giving everything to something that may or may not pay off.
