THOSE DAMN CROWS launch tour by sharing new single on piano
19th September 2018 0 By Jon DeauxWelsh rockers THOSE DAMN CROWS today kick off an extensive UK tour, performing on the Planet Rock Presents tour with The Bad Flowers and Federal Charm. The tour traverses the UK for 11 shows, starting tonight in Bristol and deliberately visiting some lesser-played places like Chester and Huddersfield, before wrapping up in London on September 30. The lads then have another 9 UK dates lined up before Christmas, including a mix of headline shows, festivals, and dates with Massive Wagons and The Wild.
To celebrate the start of the tour, the band have shared a brand new solo version of their current single, ‘Blink Of An Eye’, on piano. The video was self-filmed by vocalist Shane Greenhall, who is also an accomplished pianist!
Earlier this month, Those Damn Crows released an acoustic live video of ‘Blink Of An Eye’, filmed live at YouTube Space London in July. Watch it on the Planet Rock website here. Fans can also view an electric performance of the track, again filmed at YouTube Space, on Earache’s YouTube channel here. For more insights into the track, check out Episode 2 of ‘Making the Murder’, the band’s behind-the-scenes documentary series, where Shane discusses its origins with guitarist Ian “Shiner” Thomas and drummer Ronnie Huxford. Watch it here.
‘Murder And The Motive’ is available to pre-order now on limited edition signed CD and vinyl, standard CD and vinyl, plus a selection of merch bundles from the Earache Webstore. As a special treat for fans, each webstore pre-order also includes 10 free CrowCoins – a brand new cryptocurrency created specifically for the most dedicated THOSE DAMN CROWS fans, which will give them the chance to get their hands on exclusive merch items.
The album is also available to pre-order now on iTunes, including instant downloads of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Ain’t Dead!’, ‘Someone Someday’, ‘Blink Of An Eye’, and ‘Don’t Give A Damn’.
