Vomitile – Mastering The Art Of Killing
20th September 2014Cyprus death metallers Vomitile formed in 2007 and Mastering The Art of Killing is their second album (they released Igniting Chaos in 2013).
This is old school death metal – fast paced with thunderous drumming, catchy riffs, and growling vocals. The band have also added subtle melodic elements to their music and this gives the music an eerie, almost haunting feel.
This is definitely one of those album that grows on you, and the more you listen to it the more you discover.
If you like grinding rough-and-ready death metal, then this is definitely worth checking out. It’s not groundbreaking by any means, but it’s well done and Vomitile are a band who look like they have a promising future.
